Lessons
White Horse Farm offers beginner to advanced Hunter/Jumper riding lessons seven days a week. Students ages 4+ and those with special abilities are welcome! Riding lessons cost $55 and last one hour.
Please give yourself 30 minutes before and after your lesson time to prepare and care for your horse.
Flat Lessons
Taking a flat lesson allows the rider to focus on dressage-like techniques for the Hunter/Jumpers. Whether you are learning to ride a horse for the first time, or jumping 2’3″ courses, focusing on classical flat work basics will create more successful equestrians.
Jumping Lessons
A jumping lesson for horses is a structured training session where riders and horses learn and practice the skills required for jumping over various obstacles. The lesson typically includes a warm-up, jumping exercises, technique and form instruction, grid work, course navigation, immediate feedback, safety precautions, a cool-down, and post-lesson reflection. These lessons are essential for preparing riders and horses for competitive jumping disciplines, emphasizing proper posture, balance, and timing to safely and effectively clear obstacles. Our lesson horses jump no higher than 2’ 3”.
